Armed Forces Bank announced Heroes Round Up to support homeless veterans. With this program, customers can round up purchases in $1 and $5 increments to donate to the Veterans Community Project, according to a press release.

The project offers housing and support services for homeless veterans. In order to participate, customers can select Heroes Round Up online or mobile and choose to round up debit card purchases.

“Everything we do is about making life easier and better for service members, veterans and their families, no matter where they are stationed,” Tom McLean, SVP and military regional executive, Armed Forces Bank, said in the release. “We believe we are uniquely qualified to do that, because 75% of our staff are military-affiliated, meaning they or someone they love has served.”
