Christian Monthly Journal Prompts – March 2025

[ad_1]

Use these 31 daily Christian journal prompts for March, focusing on your identity in Christ paired with Bible verses that remind you that you are loved, chosen, redeemed, and secure in Him.

What distracts you from believing your identity in Christ?

That list is long for me – comparing myself with others, insecurities, measuring my worth by my productivity, negative body image, hurtful or insensitive comments from others, unspoken and unrealistic expectations…the list goes on and on.

I’ve spent 38 years (during 100-pound weight loss journey, a previously emotionally abusive marriage, an ongoing 5 1/2+ year battle with debilitating insomnia, and more) working on believing what God says is true about who I am.

Life has a way of pulling us in a hundred directions, whispering lies about our worth, our purpose, and our identity.

But in the middle of the noise, God speaks a truth that never changes: You are His.

Journaling has always been one of my favorite ways to reconnect with that truth.

When I sit down with my Bible, my pen, and my notebook, I can slow down my thoughts. Catch the lies more easily. Soak in Scripture.

And be reminded that my identity isn’t defined by my circumstances, my past, or my feelings (this is how I process my emotions with God)—it’s rooted in who God says I am. I am loved, chosen, redeemed, and secure. And so are you.

This month, I have 31 daily journal prompts to help you reflect on your identity in Christ.

Each day pairs a short Bible verse with a thoughtful question to consider in your quiet time with God. My prayer is that these prompts will draw you closer to the Lord, anchor your heart in His truth (even when you don’t necessarily feel like it’s true), and fill you with the confidence that comes from knowing you are fully known, fully loved, and fully His.
