Jurors in the murder trial of Orange County Superior Court Judge Jeffrey Ferguson heard starkly different accounts of the shooting that resulted in the death of his wife, Sheryl Ferguson.
Defense counsel Cameron Talley maintained that Ferguson’s discharge of the gun was accidental, while prosecutor Seton Hunt blasted Ferguson as a “sad” and “pathetic old man” who lied to “protect money for his son.”
