A federal judge on Thursday held fast to his ordered reinstatement—at least temporarily—of a whistleblower protector that President Donald Trump fired without cause.
U.S. District Judge Rudolph Contreras of the District of Columbia rejected as “unwarranted” the Department of Justice’s request that he lift the temporary restraining order he issued Tuesday on the firing of Cathy A. Harris from the Merit Systems Protection Board.
