Apple has just flipped the switch on beta 1 of iPadOS 18.4, macOS 15.4, watchOS 11.4, tvOS 18.4 and visionOS 2.4 for iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Apple TV and Apple Vision Pro.
The release, which is currently only available to developers of Apple Developer Program portal, comes alongside iOS 18.4 beta 1 which was released for iPhones a short while ago.


The latest x.4 update to aforementioned platforms is expected to feature third-wave of Apple Intelligence features. Previously, Apple rolled out first-wave of Apple Intelligence features as part of x.2 and x3 releases of aforementioned mentioned platforms.
For those of you who live under a rock and don’t know, Apple Intelligence, Apple’s cutting-edge integration of artificial intelligence and machine learning across its ecosystem, aims to deliver smarter and more personalized user experiences. Embedded in devices like iPhones, iPads, Macs, Apple Intelligence powers features such as Siri’s enhanced natural language processing, advanced photo and video recognition, predictive text, and ChatGPT integration.
By utilizing on-device processing, Apple prioritizes user privacy while enabling real-time, context-aware functionality. For instance, features like Visual Intelligence on iPhone 16, and notification summaries in apps like Mail, News, and more are all driven by Apple Intelligence. This seamless integration of AI into everyday tasks exemplifies Apple’s dedication to creating intuitive, user-centric technology that adapts to individual needs while upholding the highest standards of privacy and security.
To download the latest betas, head over to Settings > General > Software Update section of the device itself and grab the OTA update from there. Keep in mind that you will need to be enrolled Apple Developer Program portal in order for OTA update to show up for you.
