Judge Reserves Decision as Eric Adams’ Counsel, DOJ Urge Approval of Dismissal in Public Corruption Case

The Manhattan federal judge overseeing the public corruption case of New York City Mayor Eric Adams reserved decision on Wednesday as lawyers for both Adams and the Justice Department insisted the case be dismissed.

“It’s not in anyone’s interest here for this to drag on,” U.S. District Court Judge Dale Ho of the Southern District of New York said before departing the bench. “But to exercise my discretion properly, I’m not going to shoot from the hip.”
