Bank of America appoints board member

Bank of America has appointed Maria Martinez as a director of the board. She previously served as COO at Cisco, according to a press release.

She has more than 40 years of experience in technology and telecommunications in companies such as Microsoft Corp., AT&T and more.

“Maria’s leadership experience at some of the largest technology companies in the world will be a valuable asset and provide additional perspective. I look forward to her joining our board,” Brian Moynihan, chair and CEO, said in the release.
