New: Create emails 10 times faster with the AI Assistant
On January 16, we introduced the AI Assistant, a powerful new tool that generates emails automatically — while keeping you in full control.
What can it create?
- webinar email series (invitations, reminders — you choose how many);
- email digests for streamlined updates;
- a “surprise” email to engage your audience.
We're working on expanding the AI Assistant to generate all types of emails. If there's a specific type you'd like to see first, let us know.
Why does it matter?
The less time you spend on email creation, the more time you have for high-impact tasks. So, the AI Assistant helps by:
- generating emails instantly while allowing full edits;
- creating email copy in major languages, so you don’t have to;
- ensuring brand consistency by pulling colors, fonts, and styles from the information you provided it with, like webinar landing pages.
With the AI Assistant, you get ready-to-use emails that match your brand — in seconds.
You can edit and adjust everything — from the outline to the final design during the creation process or even later in the editor.
How to start using it
The AI Assistant is available to all users, no matter the pricing plan.
It is in your user account to the left, the “AI Hub” tab.
New: Optimize copy of entire smart modules with GenAI
Optimizing email copy with GenAI — whether for subject lines, product descriptions, or entire sections — has been proven to boost engagement. In fact, optimizing full email modules can increase CTOR by an impressive 41.35%. And with smart modules, email generation becomes even faster.
That’s why we’re combining these capabilities — to streamline email production and maximize customer engagement. Now, you can optimize not just individual email elements but entire sections for a greater impact.
To enable this option, we’ve integrated with ChatGPT 4.0.

How to start using it
Available to all users, no matter the pricing plan:
- you design your smart module/container/structure using OG tags or the old traditional method;
- point over this container/module/structure to open its settings;
- click the “Improve with AI” icon.
You can regenerate your copy as many times as needed until you're satisfied with the results.
New: Generate your profile image with GenAI
We added this feature based on user requests! You can now use GenAI to generate profile photos for each project and your entire account.
Why does it matter?
This feature is a game-changer for users managing multiple projects within one account. It helps visually distinguish them, preventing confusion when collaborating with teammates.
If everyone uploads their real photo, it can be tricky for colleagues to find the right person. Custom-generated images make it easier for teammates to locate your account, share modules, grant access, and collaborate efficiently.
How to start using it
Available to all users, no matter the pricing plan.
At the bottom left of your user account:
- click on your avatar in the bottom left corner (or the placeholder if you haven't set an image yet);
- open Settings;
- go to Profile;
- open the Personal information tab;
- enter your prompt and generate your image;
- crop and optimize it if needed.
New: Export emails as EML files to Outlook on Windows
Back in 2018, we introduced OFT exports for Windows and EMLTPL exports for macOS. Now, we've added EML file export for Windows, making it easier to save and share your emails directly in Outlook.
Please be advised that some versions of Outlook may not open these EML/OFT files, which is beyond our control. This depends on the Outlook version.
Why does it matter?
While ESPs ensure privacy, many businesses prefer to keep internal communications off third-party services. That’s why Outlook remains a top choice for 6.66% of all email users — primarily corporate users — who rely on it for reports, critical files, and internal collaboration.
With multiple export options now available, you can seamlessly integrate Stripo with Outlook and choose the format that works best for you.

Improved: Tag your teammates in the comments
Just like in Google Docs, you can tag your colleagues in email comments so they notice them even sooner and never miss one accidentally.
Why does it matter?
By tagging teammates or clients in comments, you:
- speed up approvals with instant email notifications — no need to wait for them to log in, as they’ll see the comments directly in their inbox;
- ensure no comment gets missed, as they know it's meant for them;
- direct the right people to key discussions, keeping conversations focused.
How to start using it
Available to users with a Medium, Pro, or Prime subscription.
- by default, commenting is disabled. Enable it first;
- open the email template you want to review;
- in the sidebar, go to the Comments section;
- click on the element you want to comment on;
- leave your comment;
- tag your teammate by typing “@” and selecting their name.

What if your teammates are not invited yet?
- the "Invite member" option: Now, you can invite new participants directly from the commenting section. If you try to tag a teammate who isn't invited yet, you can add them instantly — no need to leave the comment section. They’ll receive the invite in their inbox immediately.
Fixes
Bug fixing is an ongoing process. Since the last report, we've resolved 140 issues across:
- account;
- new and old editors;
- new and old plugins.

Our plans for the near future
Beyond these updates, we're already working on exciting new features to enhance your email experience. Here's what's coming next:
1. Launching interactive product review to help you boost user response rates
We're expanding our no-code interactive module generator with "Product Review," launching in February 2025. This feature will let recipients rate your product and leave feedback directly within the email.
2. Displaying comments in shared emails via the preview link (viewstripo.email)
Currently, comments left for teammates appear only in the comments section within the editor, and notifications are sent to their inboxes. In February, we’re enabling comment display directly in shared email/template previews via the preview link. This will let you access comments anywhere on any device, including mobile, without logging into the editor.
3. Generating email imagery with GenAI
We’ve integrated with DALL-E, Gemini, and Stability AI, allowing users to generate images directly within the new editor, eliminating the need for external tools.
4. Launching a library of modules
We’re building an extensive library of fully customizable, ready-made modules for any business and occasion. Modular email design speeds up email creation by 5x compared to traditional drag-n-drop editors, ensuring both efficiency and brand consistency.
5. Generating alt texts with GenAI
Missing alt text is one of the most common accessibility issues in emails. Starting in February, users of the new editor will be able to generate alt text for images with GenAI, ensuring better accessibility for visually impaired readers.
6. Adding the AMP carousel block to the new editor
Currently, adding an AMP carousel requires switching back to the old editor. Starting next month, you’ll be able to design AMP carousels directly in the new editor, simplifying the creation of interactive emails.
