JPMorgan Chase celebrated the opening of its first branch in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. This is part of a plan for the bank to open up to nine branches along the Grand Strand area, according to a report by WFXB.
At a ribbon cutting ceremony, attendees were able to tour the branch. The Costal Carolina University’s mascot Chauncey was in attendance.
Chase plans to open more than 100 branches throughout the Carolinas by the end of 2025.
In 2024, Chase announced plans to open 500 branches and renovate 1,700 locations over the next three years.
