ASX-listed Reckon have announced a new partnership with NSW Rugby Union (NSWRU), the governing body for Rugby Union in New South Wales, which leads the development and promotion of the sport at all levels, from grassroots initiatives to elite competitions.
This exciting collaboration will see Reckon provide valuable support to NSWRU clubs over the next two years, strengthening both organisations’ commitment to financial literacy, sustainability, and growth.
“We’re excited to partner with NSWRU and play an active role in helping grassroots clubs succeed. Strong clubs create a strong foundation for the sport as a whole, and by supporting their financial health with Reckon software, we’re ultimately contributing to the growth of the game,” said Sam Allert, Chief Executive Officer of Reckon.
“At Reckon, we’re all about empowering small businesses, helping turn ambition into accomplishment. Grassroots clubs operate in a similar way—requiring solid financial management to thrive. And this partnership marks an important step in driving financial sustainability for grassroots clubs, ensuring they have the tools and support needed to grow and succeed.”
“We are thrilled to welcome Reckon as our Official Grassroots Accounting Partner for NSW Rugby Union,” said Peter Murphy, Chief Executive Officer of NSWRU.
“Their expertise in the financial sector, as a leading provider of accounting, payroll and POS software, will be invaluable in supporting our mission to build financially strong grassroots clubs across NSW and ensure rugby goes from strength to strength. Together, we are excited to create lasting positive impact for rugby.”
Allert added, “We look forward to applying our expertise to support these clubs and help NSWRU achieve its mission.”
