A Florida federal judge has blocked members of Congress and anyone else outside of the U.S. Department of Justice from viewing part of a final report explaining the prosecution of President Donald Trump and two co-defendants in a case involving the alleged mishandling of classified documents.
U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon of the Southern District of Florida granted an emergency motion Tuesday preventing the Justice Department from releasing Volume II of former Special Counsel Jack Smith’s confidential dossier.
