Chase has selected Nova Credit’s Cash Atlas to improve its cash flow underwriting.

The bank will also use the Credit Passport to analyze international credit data, according to a press release.

Cash Atlas analyzes consumer’s financial health through data on income, expenses and assets for decisioning. Through these solutions, Chase aims to improve access to credit for underserved customers or ones with limited credit history.

“Nova Credit is excited to expand our relationship with Chase to include Credit Passport and now Cash Atlas,” Collin Galster, COO of Nova Credit, said in the release. “Cash Atlas is unique compared to traditional credit data solutions as it generates a complete risk profile for no file, thin file, and even thick file consumers. We believe this is the future of consumer underwriting, helping to responsibly serve more people through the power of cash flow analytics.”

“Chase is committed to being the bank for all and tools like Cash Atlas and Credit Passport will help with this mission by giving us a more comprehensive view into each individual and their credit needs,” Chris Reagan, president of Chase branded cards, said in the release. “With this new data source, we can better assess credit risk, make more informed lending decisions, and approve customers with right-sized lines of credit.”
