An ATM was stolen from a store in Berkeley, California, close to Berkeley University. A pickup truck crashed into a 7-Eleven and an unknown group stole the ATM, according to a report by KTVU.

The group used a chain to drag the ATM out with the pickup truck. A manager said they were able to steal thousands of dollars and caused extensive damage to the store.

“It was hard, really hard this morning,” the manager said in the report. “Most of the stuff in the grocery section, everything is broken right now.”

Police say that multiple stores in the area have been targeted by this sort of crime. The investigation is ongoing.
