WearOS to get M3 Expressive Contacts and Keep tiles

WearOS is set to get M3 Expressive redesigns for the Google Contacts and Google Keep tiles.

This follows the rollout of the M3 redesign for Google Calendar on Android phones and the widely available redesigned Calendar tiles on WearOS.

With the redesign, the Google Contact “Favorites” tile now has pill-shaped buttons compared to the older circle-shaped design. The “Contacts” button is now replaced with See all” instead. Individual contact tiles have also been changed with the contact’s avatar in the middle sandwiched between “Call” and “Message” buttons on each side.

The new tile redesign for Google Keep changes the “Create Note” tile, making the buttons larger. The “Note” button is now an oval, while the “List” button is now a rounded rectangle with a browse button underneath both. The “Single Note” will now place all text into a rounded rectangular box.
