SCOR Investment Partners’ ILS AUM reaches $4.8bn, 20% increase from mid-year 2024

SCOR Investment Partners, the asset management arm of the French reinsurance group and a manager of insurance-linked securities (ILS) funds, has grown its ILS assets under management to US $4.8 billion as of July 1, 2025, representing an increase of 20% since mid-year 2024 when it stood at US $4 billion.

Moreover, SCOR Investment Partners’ (SCOR IP) ILS assets under management had previously grown to $4.4 billion as of December 31, 2024.

Therefore, this $4.8 billion also marks an increase of more than 9% since the start of this year.

It’s important to highlight that while SCOR Investment Partners is the main asset manager for reinsurance firm SCOR itself, the organisation also offers investment funds and opportunities to third-party institutional investors, including its catastrophe bond and ILS offering.

SCOR IP’s ILS assets under management has witnessed substantial growth in recent years.

As of December 31, 2021, SCOR IP’s ILS assets under management had reached $3 billion.

Then, as at January 1, 2023, SCOR IP’s ILS assets under management increased 7% to reach $3.2 billion, which suggested that a considerable portion of the overall SCOR IP third-party capital inflows went to its cat bond and ILS funds during that year.

Moving forward, SCOR IP then managed to grow its ILS assets under management to $3.9 billion as at January 1, 2024.
