Cardless, a fintech company, has introduced its embedded credit card program. Coinbase is serving as the first partner through its Coinbase One Card, according to a press release.

Cardless will provide its underwriting, servicing and API platform to create a better customer experience for brands. It utilizes customer data to deliver personalized rewards and loyalty program features.

Coinbase will offer the card for its loyalty members. Members will be able to earn back 4% in bitcoin for every purchase via the American Express network.

“Until now, a brand had to become a bank or strike a complex M&A deal to build a truly differentiated credit card,” Michael Spelfogel, president and co-founder of Cardless, said in the release. “Our embedded offering removes that barrier, enabling leading brands like Coinbase to build a deeply integrated custom credit card program in record time, delivering a unique loyalty value proposition for their customers.”
