How to Use Gemini Canvas for Free?
Gemini Canvas was previously available only to Gemini Advanced subscribers, but it’s now free for all users.
To use Gemini Canvas for free, follow these simple steps.
1. Open your favorite web browser and visit Gemini.google.com.
2. Sign in with your Google Account.
3. By default, the 2.0 Flash model is selected. Ensure that either the 2.0 Flash or 2.5 Pro (Preview) model is selected.
4. Then, go to the input text box and click the Canvas button to select it.
5. Now you can enter the prompt. Once the AI returns with a response, you can edit it and see Gemini’s suggestions in real-time.
Will Canvas work on my Gemini mobile app?
You can access the Canvas projects in your mobile app. However, for editing the text style and format, you need to use the Gemini web app on desktop.
