Techaeris Best of IFA 2025 Winners Announced

It is IFA time, people! I am back in Berlin for another year of the Best of IFA 2025 winners! I’ve been on the ground for a few days, and I’m not going to lie; I will not be able to see everything before I leave. But I have seen a fair share of devices and gear.

I have one more day here on the ground, but we’re at a point where I have to start choosing some of the Best of IFA 2025 winners. There are many other brands that probably could be on this list, but here we have it. The Techaeris Best of IFA 2024 winners are in no particular order here. Congratulations to each of these brands for bringing something interesting, innovative, and worthwhile to the show this year!

Techaeris Best of IFA 2025 Winners

TCL QM9K 4K TV

The TCL QM9K is the follow-up to the fantastic QM8K, and what a follow-up it is! TCL has been killing it lately with its home theater products, and the QM9K looks to be another fantastic device. Here are three key features:

JMGO O2S Ultra 4K UST

Ultra-short throw projectors aren’t anything new, but the JMGO O2S stood out to me for its small size and fantastic image. This little guy is nice and small but delivers some remarkable firepower. This little dude deserves to be on the Best of IFA 2025 list. Here are two key features:

Lenovo Legion Go 2 8.8″

Since the first Legion Go, I have been in love with these devices. Both the original Go and the Go S are spectacular devices, and now the original Go gets a follow-up with this 8.8″ Legion Go 2. Here’s a bit about this new gaming handheld!

Lenovo ThinkBook VertiFlex Concept

The Lenovo ThinkBook VertiFlex Concept is one of the best things at IFA 2025. Although this is still only a concept and prototype. I do believe this one will be coming to market because it’s just that good. I had some hands-on time with it, and Lenovo does countless crazy things, but this is a good crazy! Here’s a bit more about it.

Lenovo pushes the boundaries of innovation in enterprise IT with bold new concepts for productivity and user experiences. The “Lenovo ThinkBook VertiFlex Concept” is among the industry’s first notebook PC designs with a 14-inch rotatable screen. Ultra slim (17.9 mm) and light (1.39 kg), the PC with a rotation display system supports dual mode switching between traditional horizontal and vertical orientations. The vertical display mode is ideal for use cases such as split-screen multitasking, displaying code, and reviewing documents. Hisense L9Q Laser TV

I’ve reviewed a few Hisense USTs in the past and have found them to be excellent! The tradition continues with the L9Q, and this one was a must-include in my Best of IFA 2025 list. Here’s a bit more about it.

I covered the Lymow One earlier this year, and I got to actually see it at IFA, and it is glorious! I am expecting to get one of these for review at some point next year. So stay tuned! Meanwhile, I had to give it a Best of IFA 2025, and here’s a bit more about it.

The Belkin SoundForm Anywhere is an ultra-affordable set of earbuds that are tiny. These might not be for everyone, but I know many users will find these useful!

Samsung MicroRGB

I already covered Micro RGB from Samsung earlier last month, but they were at IFA as well, and this new TV tech deserves to be on the Best of IFA 2025 list.

Samsung’s Micro RGB is built on Samsung’s proprietary Micro RGB Technology, which arranges individually controlled red, green, and blue micro RGB LEDs—each less than 100 µm in size—in an ultra-fine pattern behind the panel. Unlike conventional backlighting, the architecture enables precision control over each red, green, and blue RGB LED.

Antigravity Drone

Another device I covered earlier last month, and I finally got to see it here at IFA 2025. There are countless drones, and many of them are great. Antigravity does a lot of what others do, but there are some cool features.

A key feature of Antigravity A1 is its unparalleled level of immersion. The drone, the Vision goggles, and the Grip controller work together to enable a new way to explore the skies.

With Antigravity’s unique FreeMotion technology and responsive head tracking, pilots can look freely in any direction while flying the drone using intuitive hand gestures. This separates flying the drone from viewing the surroundings, allowing pilots to look in one direction while flying in another. The result is a level of immersion that makes it feel as if you’re really there—turning Antigravity A1 into a tool for aerial exploration.
