Fifth Third named as top veteran friendly employer 2

The U.S. Veterans Magazine has named Fifth Third Bank as a Top Veteran-Friendly Employer for 2025 due to its ongoing support for veterans and their families. The magazine gives out the award to companies that recruit and retain veterans and develop a veteran-friendly workplace, according to a press release.

Fifth Third provides its Military Business Resource Groups to support veterans, advocates and family members. The group provides 10 free non-Fifth Third ATM transactions monthly, VA Home Loan rates, SBA Patriot Express loans and more. Members of this group also created a 24/7 support line for domestic and international military banking customers.

“At Fifth Third, we strive to create an inclusive environment in which each employee feels valued, respected and understood,” Nancy Pinckney, chief human resources officer for Fifth Third, said in the release. “We are delighted that these efforts have again been recognized by U.S Veterans Magazine.”

This isn’t the first award Fifth Third has received for its veteran support. In 2024, the U.S. Department of Defense gave a leader a Patriot Award for their support of a military employee.
