User Guide for CS-Cart Redsys Payment Gateway

CS-Cart Redsys Payment Gateway helps Spanish online stores accept payments quickly and securely with multiple popular payment methods.

This extension supports 3D Secure (3DS) authentication to add an extra layer of protection for card transactions, reducing fraud and giving both merchants and customers peace of mind.

Customers can pay instantly using Bizum, a popular mobile payment method in Spain, or choose from digital wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay for a seamless checkout experience on any device.

CS-Cart Redsys Payment Gateway also accepts major cards such as Visa, Mastercard, and Maestro, covering a wide range of payment preferences.

Designed specifically for Spanish merchants, this add-on fully integrates with CS-Cart Ultimate and Multi-vendor editions, making it suitable for single stores and large marketplaces alike.

With CS-Cart Redsys Payment Gateway, businesses can offer a safer, faster, and more flexible checkout that meets local payment standards and customer expectations.

When you download the add-on, you get one zip file and the install.txt file. Please read it carefully and follow it.

Firstly click on the icon and select Manual Installation to upload the zip file as per the below screenshot.

To install CS-Cart Redsys Payment Gateway, follow these steps:

1. Go to Manage Add-ons, click on the gear drop-down, and select Manual Installation.

2. Click on “Local” to browse the zip file and then click on “Upload & Install” as shown below in the snapshot.

After installation of the add-on, you will find Redsys in the list of the available add-ons, we will then configure the settings.

Click on “settings” to Enable, Disable, Install or Refresh. Make sure, the add-on is activated as shown in the below snapshot.

CS-Cart Redsys Payment Gateway is easy to configure from the Add-ons section in the admin panel.

Go to the Settings section, then click on Payment Methods, and click on Add Payment Method.

After clicking on Add Payment Method, select Redsys in the processor dropdown.
Give a name to the payment method.

You can also upload an image to use as an icon.
Set the status to Active.

Optionally, add a description of the payment method and provide payment instructions.
Finally, click on Create to save the payment method.

Click on Configure and enter all the required details, such as:

• Store Name: The display name of your store used during the payment process.
• Merchant Code: A unique identifier assigned by Redsys to your merchant account.
• Terminal: A numeric value (usually ‘001’) identifying the payment terminal in your account.
• Secret Key: A private key provided by Redsys used to sign and verify transactions.
• Payment Mode: Specifies whether the gateway operates in test or live mode.
• Payment Name: The label shown to customers for this payment method during checkout.
• Currency (only Euro – EUR – is supported): Redsys accepts transactions only in EUR.
• Success Order Status: The status assigned to an order after successful payment (e.g., Paid).
• Failed Order Status: The status assigned to an order if the payment fails (e.g., Failed).

This payment method supports the following payment types: Google Pay, Apple Pay, and Bizum.

After you enter all the details, click “Save” to complete the configuration.

Go to your store’s frontend. Add a product to the cart and proceed to checkout. Verify the new payment method is visible and available to select during checkout.

Note: When you create a new payment method, the system activates both the new method and Google Pay. Apple Pay is enabled for iOS mobile devices.

After clicking Place Order, the customer will be redirected to the Redsys payment page to complete the transaction. On the Redsys page, Click the yellow button(Pagar).

You will be redirected to the Redsys authentication process, where you can choose one of the following three options:

• Authentication successful: The cardholder has successfully authenticated the payment (e.g., via 3D Secure).
• Deny authentication: The cardholder’s authentication was denied by the issuing bank.
• Authentication canceled: The cardholder canceled the authentication process before completion. by the holder

After selecting an option, click on the Send button to proceed.

The system then redirects you to the Redsys authorized page to complete the process. Click “Continue” to proceed.

After this, go to the Orders section in the Admin Panel.
Here, you can view the order details, including the payment method used for the transaction.

The customer can select Google Pay as a payment method during the checkout process.

After clicking on Place Order, the page will redirect you to the Redsys Payment Page to complete the transaction, where the user can select G Pay as the payment method.

This will then redirect the user to a page where they can add their card details to proceed with the payment. Then Click on continue.

After, This will Redirect you To Google Pay page To Pay the Amount .

For users in Spain, you can also use Bizum—a fast and secure payment option supported by the CS-Cart Redsys Payment Gateway,

which allows Spanish online stores to accept payments through popular methods like Bizum.

After you place the order, the system redirects you to the Bizum authentication page, where you enter your registered Bizum phone number and click “Continue” to proceed.

The system will redirect you to the specified payment page You can complete the payment by clicking the “Continue” button.

After completing the transaction, navigate to the Order section of your account. Here, you’ll see all your order details, including the payment method listed as Bizum.
