Sea-Doo unveils 2026 lineup with new touchscreen tech & audio

Sea-Doo has announced an expanded suite of connectivity features and technology upgrades across its lineup of personal watercraft for the 2026 model year.

The company’s 10.25-inch touchscreen display, first seen on the 2025 GTX Limited 325, is being rolled out as standard equipment on several additional models in 2026. This larger, customisable display now comes as standard on the RXT-X, FishPro Trophy, Wake Pro (230), and Explorer Pro, and is available as an option on the RXP-X 325.

The display offers a range of smart connectivity functions, including driving statistics, a compass, and marine navigation via the BRP GO! app – which can be further enhanced through a NavionicsTM subscription – as well as entertainment options such as music. The screen’s larger format allows riders to access more information at a glance and facilitates features such as rider tracking and itinerary planning with others on the water.

“Every year, we push to elevate the Sea-Doo experience for our new and loyal customers alike, who are looking to live their best Sea-Doo Life. We listen carefully to their feedback and respond through continuous improvements to our products featuring innovative and industry-leading technologies with the goal of making our communities feel closer than ever before,” says James Heintz, Global Product Strategy Director, Sea-Doo and Vehicle Connectivity.

Along with core navigation and communication upgrades, the touchscreen also supports model-specific enhancements. On the RXP-X model, Launch Mode management can now be accessed directly from the gauge using the display, allowing for quick starts aimed at performance enthusiasts.

The FishPro Trophy model benefits from further technology upgrades. The 10.25-inch touchscreen works with the BRP GO! mobile app to deliver detailed marine navigation maps, and the fish finder function now uses an upgraded Garmin GPS, moving from a 7-inch to a 9-inch screen on the 2026 model. The FishPro Trophy also receives a hydraulic steering dampener for improved handling at high speeds and in rough water, as well as new handlebar ergonomics for enhanced comfort.

On the Wake Pro, users now have direct touchscreen control over Ski Mode, which provides five distinct ramp profiles to adjust speed and acceleration according to the skill levels of different riders. This development is aimed at improving safety and usability during towing activities.

Audio enhancements

Audio system upgrades come with the introduction of Platinum BRP 80-watt speakers, a step up from the previous 50-watt offering. When installed as a pair, riders will have access to a total system output of 160 watts.

IDF as standard on GTI-SE

Sea-Doo is now making the Intelligent Debris-Free (IDF) pump system standard equipment on its GTI-SE model. Originally introduced for the FishPro and GTX series in 2021, the IDF system allows riders to clear debris from the intake grate with a button press, eliminating the need to exit the watercraft to address blockages by hand. This function also reduces wear, as prompt removal of debris prevents mechanical issues and helps to protect the pump and cooling systems from damage caused by untreated obstructions.

New colourways

The 2026 range introduces new colour options across the Spark Trixx, GTI SE, RXP-X, and RXT-X models. The RXP-X, for example, now arrives in a Gulfstream Blue colourway alongside the new optional touchscreen display.

Sea-Doo states that these improvements are designed to support a growing community of riders interested in both recreation and water-based sport, while offering technological solutions to common on-water challenges.
