Man charged for alleged ATM jackpotting

A man was charged in Canon City, Colorado, for allegedly running an ATM jackpotting scheme. Authorities first began investigating the incident in May when someone stole around $68,000 from an ATM through jackpotting, according to a report by KKTV.

Multiple agencies worked together on the investigation. Currently, the suspect Joel Alejandro Morantes-Leal is held on felony cybercrime and third-degree burglary charges.
