Lawyer Tells Judge SoCal Edison Looking to Sue Others Over Eaton Fire

A Los Angeles judge is pressing lawyers to set a bellwether trial date in the litigation over this year’s deadly Eaton wildfire, while Southern California Edison, the sole defendant in the lawsuits, is investigating whether to sue more than half a dozen other entities.
