Wallet Management App by Shopify enables admins to provide a seamless wallet and transaction experience to customers on their eCommerce store.
The Wallet feature enables customers to add amounts to their wallet.
Make payments using their wallet, and get a refund in their wallet directly.
Previously, accessing transaction data was not a straightforward process for admins.
Retrieving essential financial information required navigating through multiple tables and cross-referencing different sections.
Which made the task time-consuming, complicated, and prone to delays.
The recent updates have significantly enhanced this process.
The system now consolidates all transaction details, including amounts added, spent, and refunded into a single, easy-to-access table.
This enhancement greatly simplifies data management, allowing admins to quickly find, review, and analyze transaction records without switching between multiple screens.
We now ensure that all relevant information is readily available in one centralized location.
Admins can now manage transactions more efficiently and provide faster, more accurate responses to customer inquiries.
This update not only improves operational workflow but also enhances the overall customer service experience.
The system will officially implement and make these transaction updates available from July 2 onwards.
Wallet Customer
The wallet customer section shows the list of customers and their wallet transaction details.
Clicking on View Details, you can see the whole transaction history of that customer along with their status.

Now, it allows us to view the order IDs of customers directly.
As a result, this enhancement provides better order tracking and significantly improves overall management efficiency.
Now, the amount added, spent, and refunded for each customer is displayed in a single section under the ‘Transaction Type‘ tab.
Admins can now easily view the complete financial summary at once, as the total amount is displayed under the ‘Amount’ tab.

This improvement makes it easier for admins to track and manage all customer financial activities in one place.
With the latest updates, admins can now easily view customers’ past transactions directly from a centralized section.
This new feature enhances visibility by allowing quick access to both recent and older transaction records.
Transactions processed before July 2 will be categorized as old transactions, whereas those processed on or after July 2 will be categorized as new transactions.
This clear distinction simplifies data management and helps admins efficiently filter and export transaction records based on their timeline.

This feature helps in efficiently tracking historical transactions with ease and accuracy.
By clicking the Export Transactions button, you can easily export the transaction details of your customers.
Making the data readily available for further analysis or record-keeping.

A new feature has been introduced that enables the selection of whether Recent transactions or Older transactions should be exported based on a chosen date range.
Export Transactions before July 2 will be categorized as old transactions, whereas those processed on or after July 2 will be categorized as new transactions.
You will receive separate emails for Recent and Older transactions.

This provides greater flexibility in managing and analyzing customer transaction data.
The customer’s “My account” page will show all the details of the wallet, which will include wallet amount, transaction histories, transaction status, and much more.

Now, customers can view their Older Transaction History.
Customers can now access a detailed breakdown of the amounts added, spent, and refunded, all conveniently displayed in a single section under the ‘Transaction Type’ tab.
Additionally, the total amount is now clearly displayed under the ‘Amount’ tab on the customer’s end, ensuring that a complete and transparent financial summary is provided at once.
