Rosen Law Firm has filed a class action lawsuit on behalf of purchasers and acquirers of Fiserv Inc. common stock. The lawsuit alleges that Fiserve misled its investors regarding its Clover platform, according to the release.

In particular, Fiserv had Payeezy merchants migrate to the Clover platform, which led to a temporary boost in revenue. However, the lawsuit alleged that Payeezy merchants later left this platform due to high costs.

As a result, the lawsuit claims that Fiserv’s ” positive Class Period statements about Clover’s growth strategies, competition, attrition, GPV growth, and business prospects were materially false and misleading. When the true details entered the market, the lawsuit claims that investors suffered damages.”

Shareholders who wish to participate in the class action as a lead plaintiff must submit motions by Sept. 22.

When asked for a comment from ATM Marketplace, Fiserv emailed the following statement: “Fiserv disagrees with the claims and will vigorously defend itself in the lawsuit.”
