Microblog: Royal Gold RGLD purchase of Sandstorm SAND – 0.0625 shares of RGLD | Stock Gumshoe

We have read it here on gumshoe, comments about Royal Gold purchase of Sandstorm.
I own both but have this thought as of 7/21/2025.
If I don’t mind receiving more Royal Gold shares (as of close 7/21 $157.48) and I see SAND at $9.67…Should a person be purchasing more SAND at prices of $9.67 or less?
After doing a quick calculation today, it appears that the 0.0625 shares swapped today would make me a few dollars per RGLD share and the $3.5 billion purchase price translates to about $9.85/share of SAND.
AM I WRONG?
If this is a valid number and SAND drifts lower, purchase more? and make a few pennies?

A quick PS – – deal announced July 7, 2025. SAND price jumped to $10.24.
If my $9.85 is accurate, are those at $10.24 technically losing $0.50 per share… Give or take. TRUE?
