First-Day Formalities, Infrastructure, and First Impression

The first day was very interactive with all the associates. Everyone was very welcoming and easy to talk to.

Main Tasks

During my internship at Gargieyas, I gained valuable experience in taxation law. I assisted in conducting in-depth research on tax regulations and case laws under the Income Tax Act, 1961, for ongoing matters.

I collaborated with the associates on research tasks, analyzed complex tax issues, and contributed to both research and drafting work. This experience enhanced my understanding of taxation law.

I also developed analytical and organizational skills by managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines. The internship provided real exposure to practical legal work in the field of taxation, reinforcing my interest in pursuing a career in tax law.

Work Environment

The work environment was professional, collaborative, and approachable. Senior associates provided valuable guidance, fostering a supportive atmosphere for learning.

Teamwork was encouraged, allowing interns to work together, share insights, and contribute to ongoing projects. The firm maintained discipline, with strong attention to detail and work quality.

Good Things about the Internship

There were regular discussions and daily feedback sessions, which helped us understand the complexity of taxation matters. Despite the workload, the positive and encouraging environment motivated me to perform at my best and further developed my skills in a practical legal setting.

Bad Things about the Internship

There was nothing bad about the firm. Everything was good and manageable. While the firm did push our limits and challenge us, it was always for our own benefit, and it helped us recognize our true capabilities.

Accommodation is not provided, but the office is easily accessible since the metro is nearby. It’s also easy to locate, as it is situated on a main road.
