Security intelligence and management solutions company Exabeam Inc. today unveiled an expansion of its Nova multi-agent artificial intelligence system with the addition of a cybersecurity strategy agent for security operations center leadership.
Exabeam claims the new Nova Advisor Agent is the cybersecurity industry’s first AI capability designed to turn security data into a strategy that chief information security officers can defend in the boardroom. The new agent can translate complex security metrics into business-relevant terms, making it easier to demonstrate risk reduction, prove the value of security investments and show measurable progress.
Core to the Nova Advisor Agent offering is an ability to automatically generate strategic, data-backed plans. It does so by leveraging daily posture assessments, MITRE ATT&CK coverage and organizational security data to create clear roadmaps aligned with security objectives.
The agent also identifies and prioritizes critical gaps such as missing logs, misconfigurations and weak detection content. Security teams can simulate changes through what-if analyses and track daily improvements, ensuring alignment with long-term organizational goals.
“Security teams are woefully underfunded and asked to do more with less, yet threats continue to multiply,” said Chief Executive Chris O’Malley. “Exabeam Nova is creating a historic shift in how SOCs operate — moving from reactive alert chasing to strategic process optimization.”
With the addition of the Nova Advisor Agent, Exabeam Nova now offers six purpose-built agents to automate decisions, streamline investigations and deliver continuous benchmarking of program effectiveness with clear, prioritized recommendations to drive improvement.
The agents are embedded into the foundation of the company’s New-Scale Security Operations Platform, including the platform’s threat detection, investigation and response workflow.
Nova AI was launched in April and has been well-received, according to the company, with users reporting five times faster investigations with improved accuracy. According to Exabeam, users overwhelmingly cite the ability to work smarter and prove the business impact of their security programs as Nova’s greatest value.
