Bank of America continues to provide support for clients in Los Angeles, following the wildfires in January 2025. Most recently, it has delivered more than $1 million in capital to nonprofits, which are providing resources for insurance, debris removal, small business support and more, according to a press release.

With this contribution, Bank of America has given a total of more than $3.5 million since the wildfires began. These funds will help in several ways, including health and trauma counseling for those impacted by the fires.

“Having helped clients through disasters over many years, Bank of America has the expertise, capital and connections to help Los Angeles rebuild following this tragedy. From our immediate initial response to the fires in January to pivoting as needs change over time, our aim is to help all Angelenos recover. We’re doing this together with the region’s incredible public, private and nonprofit sectors,” Raul A. Anaya, business banking president, Bank of America, said in the release.

The bank is also working at building new branches in the Altadena and Pacific Palisades, since its two branches were destroyed there by the fires.
