Aon promotes Laing to UK CEO, Reinsurance, Moore becomes CEO APAC, Reinsurance

Aon has announced some senior promotions within its Reinsurance Solutions division, with Andrew Laing to become UK CEO for Reinsurance and Rupert Moore taking on a new role as CEO of Reinsurance for Asia Pacific and Chairman of the Strategy and Technology Group for that region.

Laing will also continue in his role as Aon’s global Facultative CEO, a position he has held since 2016 and will continue to be based in London.

Moore, who had been the UK CEO for Reinsurance for the past three years, will relocate to Singapore and also serve as an advisor to Aon’s APAC CEO Jennifer Richards, working to advance the Aon Risk Capital strategy for Japan.

Moore is well-placed to support that ambition, having previously served as CEO of Reinsurance in Japan for five years.
