Japanese banks considering co-managing ATMs

The three Japanese banks, MUFG Bank, Sumiotomo Mitsui Bank and Mizuho Bank, are in talks to share costs and operations of their ATMs, according to a report by The Japan Times.

If the deal goes through, the banks would work together for security, cash transit and other ATM processes.

The banks have yet to make a decision on the ATMs.
