Two men from Hall County, Nebraska are charged with allegedly depositing a fake check and then using those funds to withdraw money from an ATM, according to a report by Nebraska TV.
Logan Hauf, 21, allegedly wrote a check for $5,000 at Cornerstone Bank branch and deposited it into an ATM. He then allegedly withdraw the cash from multiple ATMs in Grand Island. He is being charged with forgery, theft by deception and criminal conspiracy.
Devin Moellenberndt, who was allegedly with Hauf at the time, is being charged with aiding and abetting forgery, criminal conspiracy and theft by deception.
