After the whirlwind that was April, I had visions of a slow, cozy May spent mostly at home. Spoiler Alert: that didn’t happen. Not even remotely.
Instead, the month filled up fast—with lunch and a theatre outing with a good friend, hosting book club at my place (I only managed to snap a photo of the snacks), and my online book club (same novel—Oliver Twist). There were Mother’s Day flowers, a Mother’s Day breakfast, and a Mother’s Day Garden Tour.

Add to that my new Elder College course, ‘The Art of Listening to Music,’ time with our sons, time with our grandson, special moments with Mom, visits with family and friends in Kelowna, and a celebration for a good friend’s 75th birthday.

Fresh off the press, there was camping (and the reason for my blogging break — no wifi, no cellular)! We headed north to Port Alice and Port Hardy—damp and chilly but still beautiful. The real highlight was a long-held bucket list adventure which was the driving reason behind the trip. I’ll share more about that in next week’s Wellness ReImagined post. Until then, here are a few teaser photos.
What about you? I’d love to know what made your May memorable. You can share in the comments, via InLinkz, or Contact Me. I look forward to hearing from you.
