Real-world AI deployment takes center stage at Knowledge25

Knowledge25

As AI moves from hype to impact, enterprise leaders are asking sharper questions: How do we deploy it responsibly? Where do we see returns? And how do we make work better, not just faster? ServiceNow’s Knowledge25 event aims to answer those questions at scale — with 20,000 attendees converging in Las Vegas and a program focused on real-world AI deployment, platform extensibility and co-innovation.

With a full slate of sessions, keynotes and hands-on showcases, Knowledge25 puts the spotlight on how AI is transforming work — not by replacing people, but by enhancing how they operate. SiliconANGLE Media’s livestreaming studio, theCUBE, will be on the ground with exclusive interviews and insights from the developers, partners and leaders shaping this shift.

“ServiceNow is on a roll — Knowledge25 comes off the back of an explosive quarter, and we’re excited to share real examples of how they’re putting AI to work for people and eliminating ‘soul-crushing work’ at scale,” said Savannah Peterson, principal analyst at theCUBE Research. “We’re going to give you the buzz and the stories from the 20,000 attendees in Las Vegas here in just a few days.”

Join theCUBE on May 8 for exclusive interviews and coverage from Knowledge25 that highlights real-world AI deployment, intelligent automation and platform innovation at enterprise scale. (* Disclosure below.)

From AI promise to real-world AI deployment

One of the core themes of Knowledge25 is how enterprises are moving beyond isolated AI pilots and into phase two: integrating generative and agentic AI into core business processes. ServiceNow has positioned its platform as the foundation for this shift — emphasizing augmentation over disruption.

Rather than rip-and-replace, Knowledge25 will showcase how companies are using ServiceNow’s platform to layer AI across workflows, reduce legacy friction, and boost time-to-value. The emphasis is on practical tools that work with human users — freeing employees from manual tasks and enabling them to focus on higher-value work.

Much of what’s drawing attention to this year’s Knowledge event stems from ServiceNow’s evolving narrative: AI isn’t about replacing workers, it’s about helping them thrive. “Putting AI to work for people” has become a rallying cry — and it’s clear from the event lineup that this message isn’t just lip service.

Executives and analysts will dig into how companies are handling anxieties around job displacement while making real-world AI deployment a collaborative process. Sessions are expected to explore phased rollouts, internal champions and the emotional side of AI transformation — from trust to transparency.

This human-centered approach has become a hallmark of ServiceNow’s strategy and storytelling. With projects such as the Webby-winning short film “Alt Shift Life,” the company has made it clear it’s not just focused on business value — it’s aiming to redefine how work feels.

“Internally they’re experimenting and adopting AI fervently as they co-innovate with the best companies in the world,” Peterson said.

Agentic AI and automation orchestration

A major focus at Knowledge25 will be agentic AI: intelligent digital agents that can act semi-autonomously to resolve issues, summarize cases and generate knowledge articles. The event will explore the shift from assistive tools to autonomous orchestration — and how ServiceNow is equipping enterprises to manage this next-gen automation safely and effectively.

CEO Bill McDermott describes it as giving customers the “control tower” they need to run their businesses in a data-saturated world. That message lands strongly as organizations grapple with increasingly complex IT ecosystems and rising demands for service agility.

“The implementation of AI technologies in service management involves a phased approach, beginning with foundational platform capabilities and advancing towards more complex, agentic systems,” Peterson said.

Co-innovation with Accenture and beyond

Knowledge25 will also highlight strategic partnerships — particularly with Accenture PLC — as essential to building AI solutions tailored to real-world AI deployment. The co-innovation approach is grounded in customization, enabling organizations to deploy solutions aligned with specific processes and challenges.

“There’s a lot of fatigue around [AI],” said Alex Herttrich, principal director at Accenture. “When it comes to ServiceNow and the conversations we’re having … AI is another step after you’ve built a foundation. AI is something that builds on top of the platform. It’s not bringing new tools; it’s rather bringing new capability that helps you automate intelligence on top of your existing processes.”

This layered approach to AI adoption reflects a shift from theoretical potential to operational reality. Rather than viewing AI as a separate initiative, enterprises are increasingly embedding it into their existing ecosystems — focusing on orchestration over overhaul. By leveraging ServiceNow’s platform as the connective tissue and combining it with Accenture’s implementation expertise, organizations are seeing more durable, adaptable outcomes, according to Marcelle Howard, director of AI solution success, platform product at ServiceNow. The emphasis is on starting with meaningful, achievable goals and scaling with confidence.

“This is really the first time we’ve interacted with AI on a consumer-grade level to the extent in which we have,” Howard said. “People’s grandparents are using it to get facts and information. People’s kids are using it to help with homework … as opposed to this concept of AI is just taking over. It’s really how do we incorporate this to strengthen the impact that people and humans can make in their jobs.”

Howard’s insights point to the power of partnership in delivering real-world AI deployment results.
