Public offering select customers $40/100GB if they switch to Koodo

Public Mobile seems to be offering customers an interesting deal. A Reddit user has posted a text they received from the carrier, suggesting that they switch to Koodo.

The deal offered $0 upfront for the Like-New Pixel 8, $7 per month with the Tab, and $40 per month with 100GB data with an auto-pay discount. The device comes with a one-year manufacturer’s warranty, and a free perk like unlimited long-distance.

Public Mobile has been offering customers these switch to Koodo deals for several years; this isn’t new, but it is a bit weird, even if both carriers are owned by Telus.

However, this is a good deal, as the carrier currently doesn’t have a 100GB plan. The company offers $39/60GB and $54/80GB promotions, but you must buy a handset upfront with this deal.
