New Jersey police arrested three individuals for allegedly running an ATM skimming operation in multiple states. Detectives first began investigating when they received complaints of fraudulent transactions at a Wawa in Monroe, New Jersey, according to a report by NJ.com.
Authorities were able to track the suspect’s vehicle in Newark. They then got a search warrant for a nearby house and found more than 1,700 fraudulent debit cards, skimming devices and more than $144,000.
Police are also on the lookout for three other men suspected to be involved in the scheme.
