Xiaomi has quietly released the Redmi 13x in Vietnam, opting for a low-key launch rather than a formal announcement. While the device retains much of the internal hardware from last year’s Redmi 13 4G, it introduces a fresh exterior that aligns with Xiaomi’s current Redmi Note 14 series.
The Redmi 13x sports a 6.79-inch IPS LCD panel with Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The redesigned body gives it a contemporary aesthetic, while the rear camera island adopts a layout similar to Xiaomi’s latest smartphones.
Under the hood, the device is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G91-Ultra chipset, available with 6GB or 8GB of RAM, both offering 128GB of internal storage. Running Xiaomi’s HyperOS based on Android 14, the phone features a refined UI and updated software capabilities in line with other recent Redmi models.
The camera setup on the back consists of a 108MP primary sensor alongside a 2MP macro lens, housed in a redesigned module. The front camera is embedded at the top center of the display, though Xiaomi has not specified its resolution.
A robust 5,030mAh battery with 33W fast charging powers the Redmi 13x. Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, IP53 dust and splash resistance, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The 6GB + 128GB model is priced at VND 4,290,000 ($168), while the 8GB + 128GB variant is available for VND 4,690,000 ($183).
The phone is currently on sale in Vietnam, with a wider release expected soon.
