The rumored Apple Vision Air headset might have suffered a new leak after the sharing of images of a charging prototype cable appeared online.
Shared on the X social network by prototype collector Kosutami, the images appear to show a new charging cable that is similar to that of the Apple Vision Pro but is a different color and is expected to be sold with the rumored Apple Vision Air.

The Apple Vision Air cable comes in silver, whereas this one is black. Moreover, the leaked cable appears to have a thinner design and a tweaked connector. It’s similar to Lightning, as was the Apple Vision Pro cable.
The new cable is also said to have different internal structures, made using titanium, in an effort to make it lighter. The move should make it easier to wear the Apple Vision Air for longer than the Apple Vision Pro, assuming this leak is accurate.
Apple is thought to have plans to launch a new, second-gen Apple Vision Pro headset at the end of this year or in the first quarter of 2026, while the cheaper Apple Viison Air device is also thought to be in the works.

As MacRumors notes, it’s important to remember that this source has a mixed track record, although they do have some notable wins, including sharing images of the first FineWoven Apple Watch bands, among other things.
