Baker Boyer Bank has turned its ATMs offline after multiple ATMs were targeted by thieves. The bank says that some cash was stolen from the ATMs, according to a report by Union Bulletin.
In the meantime, the bank will cover any surcharge fees from customers using other ATMs.
“Even though the financial consequence is not significant, and the issue was contained to the ATMs, Baker Boyer will be fully cooperating with authorities as we will not tolerate any threat to our clients and their accounts,” Mark Kajita, president and CEO of Baker Boyer Bank, said in a statement.
