In a new executive order, President Donald Trump opened the door for widescale investigations into DEI practices at large law firms.
The order, signed on Thursday, directs the chair of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission to review the practices of “representative large, influential, or industry-leading law firms for “consistency” with Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
