Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has introduced the 8070 Ramazan Relief Package 2025, a Rs20 billion initiative designed to assist low-income families in preparation for the holy month of Ramazan.

Through this program, 40 lac eligible families will receive Rs10,000 in financial aid, along with subsidies on essential food items. The government has implemented a digital distribution system to replace long queues at Utility Stores, ensuring a smoother and more efficient process.

Two-Tier Relief Structure

The Ramazan Relief Package 2025 consists of two key components:

Direct Cash Assistance: Families meeting the eligibility criteria will receive Rs10,000 to help manage household expenses during Ramazan.

Ration Subsidy: Discounts will be available on essential food items such as flour, sugar, pulses, ghee, and rice, allowing families to purchase necessities at reduced prices.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the 8070 Ramazan Relief Package, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Hold a valid Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC)
• Be registered under the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) or the Ehsaas Programme
• Not be receiving aid from any other government assistance program

Registration Process

Eligible individuals can register through the official PSER portal by providing their CNIC and mobile number and completing the application form.

Alternatively, applicants can send their CNIC number via SMS to 8070 to check eligibility and receive further instructions.

Fund Disbursement Methods

To ensure a seamless distribution process, the government has introduced multiple disbursement channels:

Payment Method	Details
Bank Transfers	Funds will be transferred to accounts in HBL, UBL, and Bank Alfalah.
Mobile Wallets	Beneficiaries can receive aid through Easypaisa and JazzCash.
Ehsaas Centers	Those without bank accounts can collect funds from designated Ehsaas Program Centers.
Union Council Offices	Final verification and fund collection will be facilitated at local Union Council offices.

Authorities are urging eligible families to complete their registration as soon as possible to prevent delays in receiving financial assistance. With the deadline approaching, early enrollment is highly encouraged to ensure timely disbursement.
