M&T Bank appointed Carmen Magistro as regional president for Northern Pennsylvania. He previously served as commercial senior group manager for Northern Pennsylvania commercial and industrial at the bank, according to a press release.
In this role, he will help improve the bank’s presence in the local community, while overseeing its commercial banking operations. He takes over for Phil Johnson, who is retiring.
“A lifelong resident of Northern Pennsylvania with an enduring commitment to its communities, Carmen is well-positioned to guide M&T’s efforts in fostering economic growth and supporting local businesses,” Mike Keegan, senior EVP and head of community banking, said in the release. “His experience and leadership will be pivotal in driving forward our mission of enabling customers, colleagues, and communities to thrive.”
