In February 2024, two men forced someone at gunpoint to withdraw money from an ATM in Sioux City, Iowa. Now one of the men accused in that case, Shaquille Harris, has been sentenced to 25 years in prison, according to a report by KTIV.
In the incident, Shaquille Harris and Ocean Ellington-Harley 26, held a man hostage and drove to a nearby bank and tried to force him to withdraw money, but he was unable to do so.
Shaquille Harris has been charged with second degree kidnapping, first degree robbery, extortion, first degree burglary and other crimes. Ocean Ellington-Harley was sentenced in November 2024.
