Japan’s Miura & Partners Acquires Boutique Firm in US, Launches in Thailand and Malaysia

Japanese firm Miura & Partners is aggressively pushing for growth beyond its borders after acquiring Seattle boutique Baxter Law International and launching operations in Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur.

The 100-lawyer firm was established in 2019 by former Big Four Japanese firm Mori Hamada partner Ryota Miura. Partners Naomi Koshi and Norika Yuasa will regularly travel to Seattle to provide seamless support for the firm’s clients.
