About the Organisers
NCIBL is a pioneer student-led initiative in the field of Insolvency and Bankruptcy Laws, and it aims to invite scholarly insights from all the persons who are interested in this evolving domain. To achieve the same, Research Papers are invited from students, legal professionals, industry stakeholders, academicians, and researchers from legal, financial, banking and other allied sectors.

Call for Papers
“We invite students, legal professionals, academicians and industry stakeholders to submit original and unpublished research papers under various themes including:
- Evolution of Debt Recovery Laws in India
- Corporate Insolvency & Liquidation Process
- Cross-Border Insolvency
- Personal Insolvency & Guarantor Liabilities
- Banking & Financial Institution Insolvency
- Corporate Governance in Insolvency Laws
The themes mentioned in the document are only suggestive and not exhaustive. Authors are at their discretion to choose any of the sub-themes for their paper that corresponds to the principal agenda of the Conclave. Co-Authorship is allowed for upto two authors.
Submission Guidelines
- An abstract of 300-400 words outlining the central theme of the paper with not more than 5 keywords.
- The papers should be between 3000-5000 words inclusive of the footnotes.
- The font style to be Times New Roman font size 12 for main text and font size 10 for footnotes.
- The line spacing of the main text of the paper to be 1.5 and line spacing of words between footnotes to be 1.
- The alignment to be justified
- ILI mode of citation to be followed.
- Submission of abstract through the google form in MS Word format: Link of submission of abstract can be accessed at the end of this post.
Registration Details
- Students/Researcher- Rs 1500
- Academicians, Legal Professionals and Industry Stakeholders- Rs 3000
- For co-authorship each author to be charged separately at the same rate as the individual author
- The respective author(s) after the selection of abstract would receive a google form to register for the presentation at the Conclave via email.
- The registration fees to be paid only after the selection of the abstracts which would be communicated to the authors via email.
- The selected papers will be presented at the Conclave where the best paper and presenter awards along with cash prize will be awarded. The top 5 submissions will be entitled to a certificate of Merit.
