Citizens Financial Group has appointed Michelle Moosally as general counsel and chief legal officer and Matt Boss as head of consumer banking. Moosally previously served as global head of regulatory relations at Wells Fargo and Boss served as EVP and head of U.S. consumer banking at TD, according to a press release.
“Michelle brings tremendous experience and deep expertise in helping large financial services companies navigate change and deliver growth,” Bruce Van Saun, CEO and chairman, Citizens, said in the release. “Her sharp insights will help us drive our ambitious agenda while providing strong and effective leadership of our Legal organization.”
“Matt is a future-focused leader with a demonstrated track record of driving strong results in the face of a rapidly evolving competitive landscape,” Brendan Coughlin, vice chair of consumer, private banking and wealth at Citizens, said in the release. “As we build off of the business’s transformed foundation since our IPO, his experience and customer centricity make him the right leader to take the Consumer business to the next level.”
