A federal appeals court is the next stop for a lawsuit over President Donald Trump’s firing of a Democratic appointee to the National Labor Relations Board, after his administration appealed a ruling, calling the dismissal “a blatant violation of the law.”
The ability of the NLRB to continue functioning while the case is pending is on the line, with the administration’s request for a stay of the decision overturning the Jan. 27 firing of board member Gwynne Wilcox in a late-night email.
