Ukraine said on Friday it hoped the International Criminal Court would continue its work prosecuting Russian war criminals, despite US President Donald Trump’s decision to slap sanctions on the court.
“We hope that they will not affect the court’s ability to achieve justice for the victims of Russian aggression,” said foreign ministry spokesman Georgiy Tykhy.
