Large scale cloud migration project impresses judges

Gareth Grimshaw, senior Azure architect, and the Cloud Team at Logicalis Solutions picked up the IT architect of the year award at the 2024 Tech Excellence Awards in association with IP Telecom.
Grimshaw and the Logicalis Cloud Team (LCT) were recognised for their work on a large-scale cloud migration project for their client, DCC Group.
DCC Group is a conglomerate of approximately 50 diverse businesses ranging from energy,
technology, and healthcare, employing 16,000 people in 22 countries across four
continents.
To date, the LCT has worked with 33 of the businesses within DCC Group and will migrate the remainder as part of its overall engagement plan.
