Pacific Valley Bank appointed William F. Filippin as chief credit officer. In this role, he will bring over 30 years of community banking experience in credit risk management, strategic growth and more, according to a press release.

Prior to joining Pacific Valley Bank, he served as director of special projects from Community West Bank.

“I’m excited to join Pacific Valley Bank and return to my roots in community banking,” Filippin said in the release. “Throughout my career, I’ve seen firsthand how local decision-making and deep market knowledge can make a real difference for businesses and communities.
